I have been cutting my hair for the last 8 months to a bald stage (Clipper 1). When I want to regrow it like it was before the sides grow, but my top front line doesn't grow that much, its kinda of lite. The length i was trying to regrow was only about a month long, Do you think I need to let it grow for a couple months (2 or 3 more months?) I'm 17, My family is the bald kinda of people, we start at 25's 30's to lose hair on the top back and front a portion.
Hair? Any Good Help Please?
I think you clipping your hair has stunted its growth, you should ask a barber or dermatologist
Hair? Any Good Help Please?
First, cutting hair does not affect its growth rate, pattern or texture. These characteristics are factors of general health, metabolism and heredity.
Second, if you are looking at early stages of thinning hair, now is the time to address it. The products that stimulate blood flow to the follicles work well in early stage loss. (Like Rogain) So, if you think it may bother you someday and you see the beginning signs of thinning on your own head (not just in family photo collections) now is the time to start. Most salons carry at least one brand for addressing this problem, get the serum that you apply once or twice daily, not just the shampoo.
Third, as for your cutting and regrowing, try skipping your top section the next time or two you clip the rest. This will give it a head start (no pun intended) on growing. Most likely the rate is uniform around your head, it just takes more length to look right on top than say, over the ears or at the back of the neck.
Good Luck.
