I am 12 years old and about 4 months ago I waxed my lips without permission. Does it grow out black and rough?

I trimed them down with very small clippers. Whats the effect?

Congratulations on your first lip wax!. I too was reluctant at first to do it when i was 16. From what i have learned from studying beauty therapy, waxing hair espcially facial hair actually becomes finer and softer. Trimming or shaving the area will actually make it look more darker as your using a blade and are only trimming the surface, thus making it a blunt cut therefore makes the hair appear to be thicker and darker. So overall your better off continuing having it waxed, as its longer lasting cause it removes the hair from the root therefore the hairs will be much finer.

It is going to grow back thinner and whatever color it was before you waxed it. Trimming them is going to make them thicker.
