Best Brand of Electric Clippers?

Does anyone know a good quality brand of electric clippers for dogs? I have a Yorkie and I'd like to shave his hair often so he can have a nice puppy coat. Has anyone tried Andis or Oster? And does anyone have any tips for home grooming? Thanks

Andis all the way! I have used both and Andis wins for smoothness in my book. But I prefer Oster blades. They will interchange with the Andis clipper fine. You can buy grooming videos or you can go to the library and take out grooming books. Be exrta cautious on all the areas where each leg is attached to the body. This is the biggest areas for accidental nicks in those skin folds.

Oster are great, I have Old English Sheepdogs and they are what I use. You can buy Yorkie and other breeds videos on grooming and clipping ect.
